The last surviving dog of the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai died on Thursday. The Labrador named Caesar was the last of his pack as the other three- Max, Sultan and Tiger, had all died earlier this year. The city of Mumbai and its people have expressed their grief on the twitter social media.
The Mumbai’s Police Commissioner along with the city’s police force bid farewell to Caesar which was 11-years-old. The dog had helped the police force of Mumbai during the 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai. He died at a farm near Virar where he was living a life of retirement. He was left completely alone after the demise of his three other dear friends. Caesar succumbed to arthritis at his age and breathed his last at Bombay Society for Prevention of Cruelty Against Animals (BSPCA).
Caesar was given an honorable farewell by covering his body in the tricolor. Twitter remained crowded with condolences from people around who paid their due respect to the loyal Caesar. We all hail our true hero. May his soul rest in peace!!
